DCWD College Scholarship 2024 | Apply Now
The Davao City Water District (DCWD) is now accepting applications for its College Scholarship Programs for the school year 2024-2025.
There are two types of scholarships offered:
- DCWD Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples (IPs)
- DCWD Academic Excellence Scholarship
Benefits of the DCWD Scholarship
- Transportation allowance
- Meals allowance
- Boarding house allowance
- Uniform and textbook allowance
- Incentive for Dean’s List scholars
- Thesis allowance (for graduating students)
- Cash incentive upon graduation
- DCWD Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples (IPs)
Qualifications
- Be 15 to 25 years old, either incoming freshmen or continuing college students.
- Be a senior high school graduate with an average grade of at least 80%.
- If already in college, have an average grade of 80% or higher for the previous semester.
- Be a member of Indigenous Peoples (IPs) or Muslim communities residing in Toril, Tugbok, Baguio, Calinan, or Marilog districts.
Requirements
- USEP result or a letter confirming admission to the chosen degree program.
- A certificate from the tribal chieftain.
- A certificate from the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) or the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) verifying membership in an IP or Muslim community.
- Barangay clearance.
- Proof of annual household income not exceeding ₱120,000.00.
- For engineering applicants, an RTCU test result with a “High” Quality Index description.

DCWD Academic Excellence Scholarship
Qualifications
- Be 15 to 21 years old, incoming freshmen.
- Be a senior high school graduate from a school in Davao City during the previous school year.
- Have an average grade of at least 85%.
- Be in the top 20% of their graduating class.
Requirements
- USEP result or a letter confirming admission to the chosen degree program.
- Proof of annual household income not exceeding ₱120,000.00.
- RTCU test result with a “High” Quality Index description.

Important Dates
The scholarship application is now closed, and the deadline was March 31, 2024.
How to Apply
Eligible students can visit the Community Relations Division Office on the 6th floor of the DCWD Matina Office to get and submit their application forms.
Applicants must meet all the University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP) requirements before applying.
